JBA was founded to create a better way of doing things. We wanted to bring together a group of talented professionals to work on environmental, engineering and GIS projects. We have made JBA a success, by staying in tune with a few simple, core values:
Our work makes a difference We know that our clients are investing their time and energy in the projects they commission. It's important that we understand these requirements, and so make them our priority.
Innovation We know that tried-and-tested methods are often just right and the best solution. But we also seek to be creative, and to innovate to meet or anticipate our clients' needs.
Sharing and independence JBA is entirely employee-owned. We are also medium-sized, which gives us financial strength, but also means we have not lost that personal touch so often missing in the modern consultancy world. For instance, our telephones are answered by real people who get to know our clients. The members of the main board are still actively 'hands-on' technical specialists and accessible to both staff and clients. We share responsibility and reward throughout the company. We have an open, approachable culture of sharing knowledge and we very much value our independence.
